Immerse yourself in a world of enchantment with our second concert of the season, "Fairytales and Folklore." We'll explore the magical sounds of Humperdinck's Hansel und Gretel Overture and Larsson's enchanting En Vintersaga Suite (A Winter’s Tale Suite). With Yoshimatsu's “Kiyomori” Suite and Giacchino's Suite from the Movie "Coco," we'll transport you to different worlds and take you on a journey through time and sound. And with our Concerto Competition Winner, we'll showcase the incredible talent of our musicians. Join us for a show of wonder and imagination!
Join us for a night of powerful and moving music with "Voices of Destiny.” Joined by a several Lowcountry choirs, we will explore the beautiful sonorities of Brahms’ Schicksalslied, Whitacre’s Equus, Tin’s Sogno di Volare, and Sibelius’ Finlandia.The program also feature the iconic sounds of Menken’s score to "Aladdin,” and Verdi’s Overture to Nabucco. We will show you how words & music can evoke a range of emotions and inspire the soul. So join us for an experience that will touch your heart and leave you feeling uplifted.
